Alvenius Industrier A/B

Alvenius was founded in Eskilstuna, Sweden 1951. The company started early to deliver steel pipe systems to international mining companies and civil engineering projects around the world. Early mining markets were Zambia, Congo, South Africa and the Philippines. During the second part of the sixties Alvenius entered into the snowmaking market. Pipe systems for water and compressed air were early delivered to many ski resorts in Europe. Major markets are Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, France and Spain. When the TP pipes were introduced in the beginning of the 1990's Alvenius entered into new applications mainly within existing market segments. Ideal applications for TP pipes are fire hydrant installations, leaching, process water, potable and waste water, dewatering pipes and for highly corrosive media. Alvenius is a subsidiary of Boxholms AB since 1990.
