The human history is strictly tied to the one of the iron utilization. In the north - west part of Lombardia region lived the Celts, a population that started the wire manufacturing in the pre-Roman Iron Age (3rd - 1st century B.C.) … and right in this area the Steelgroup’s companies have grown. The wire drawing was studied by Leonardo da Vinci, and thereafter a growing technological process bore to the most advanced production systems, today adopted by Steelgroup. Steelgroup represents the union of companies specialized in the manufacturing of steel wires, strands and bars.
