The group market Ori Martin group, specialized in high quality long products steel production, is divided in different product unity depending on type of products and market. 1/ Special steels for mechanical applications Ori Martin is situated in Brescia and houses a melting and rolling plant for the hot production of long product steels for mechanical applications. There are two factories situated in Cologne (Bs), Monasterolo (Cn) and Bovezzo (Bs) which carry out cold finishing operations on the hot rolled steel supplied by Ori Martin. 2/ Construction steel A further factory is situated in Ceprano (Fr), this unit hot rolls billets and produces rebar in coils and bars and in addition, there are also working plants both in Ceprano (Fr) and in South Carolina (USA) for cold drawing operations and the production of P.C. strand. Special steels The production of long product special steels for use in the automotive industry is Ori Martin’s core business. Due to researching of niche quality steel requirements, more specialised and sophisticated to satisfy the European automotive industry, this allows us to offer as standard more than 200 different grades of steel.
