Specialists in carbide and small tolerances Håmex is a specialist when it comes to high-quality precision tools and wear parts as well as machinery components in steel. One distinguishing quality is our competence within products with extreme requirements for dimensional accuracy. Tolerances as low as one thousandth of a millimeter are not a problem. The combination of high industrial competence, the craftsmanship of our employees and material know-how, together with a modern assembly o machinery make us into an attractive cooperation partner. For more than thirty years we have made tools in sintered carbide. More than sixty percent of our sales are exported, especially to Europe and the United States. Most of our customers are found in product segments measuring tools, fixtures, cutting and piercing tools, powder compacting tools, shaping tools, tools for making nails and carbide grinding spindle extensions. Our production consists mostly of custom tools ordered by our customers. We also manufacture and market Kombia cylindrical gauge pins, a proprietary product. The main thrust of our operations is precision manufacturing, often of complex contour parts in carbide or other difficult-to-machine materials. To succeed in this business we have skilled and experienced staff of specialists. This is combined with a desire to constantly evolve, in part by investing in new machinery that increases efficiency and further improves quality.
